Meet Miko Neal



Miko Neal is the founder and creative force behind Cali Heart N Soul Catering, a family-owned catering company proudly serving the Sacramento Valley and San Francisco Bay Area.

A culinary professional since 2015, Miko’s passion for food was inspired long before culinary school. Raised on family traditions rooted in Louisiana and the rich cultural diversity of the Bay Area, she learned early that great food has the power to bring people together, create lasting memories, and make every guest feel at home.

Drawing inspiration from generations of Southern cooking, Miko has developed a signature style that blends authentic soul food flavors, California-fresh ingredients, and elevated presentation. Her approach—known as Rustic Luxe—combines the warmth of Southern hospitality with the sophistication of modern catering, creating memorable experiences for corporate events, weddings, fundraisers, private celebrations, and bereavement gatherings.

Under Miko’s leadership, Cali Heart N Soul Catering has become known for its personalized service, attention to detail, and diverse menu offerings that accommodate a wide range of dietary preferences, including vegan and vegetarian options. From signature garlic crab and garlic noodles to Southern classics and contemporary favorites, every menu is thoughtfully crafted to reflect the unique vision of each client.
